Why Shop At Pedal Revolution
Founded by Gareth Edwards 25 years ago, Pedal Revolution started the journey of building an independent bike shop owned and run by cyclists, for cyclists who share our customers passion for cycling, regardless of whether they ride for transport, commute, recreation, leisure, pleasure, sport or well-being. On January 14th 2022 Pedal Revolution took on a new journey with a MBO buy out with a new any dynamic management team ready to push Pedal Revolution to new places.
Through our award-winning social enterprise (The Pedal Revolution CIC) we have also delivered countless community cycling projects ranging from the Great Yarmouth Bike Project that recycled and donated 1000 bikes to local people, through to a UK leading Cycle-to-School project for 9-11 year olds. We’ve created the regions biggest mass participation recreational sportives, along with beginners rides and including the Tour de Broads and The Southwold Roubaix.
Below is why we don’t just sell customers the bikes we have in stock
In-Store
✅Find out what kinds of riding the customer will be doing; terrain, distance, style – leisure/pleasure/sportive/racing
✅We Explore; Why they ride, why they are making the purchase, riding history, any goals or plans
✅We then talk them through the various sizing options
✅We size the customer to the bike and find out what suits best. This often turns out to be 3 or 4 different bikes
✅We refine the the selection and look at all the options available group set, colour, build etc
✅Once the bike is selected it goes into our workshop to be built and quality control checks to make sure it performs perfectly
✅At the time of handing over the bike to the customer a setup fit is given, explanation on how to operate the bike and how to maintain the bike
✅Then the all important new bike day photo and a reminder that you have a complimentary service after 6 weeks
