The UK Government have exempted bike shops from their lockdown as they appreciate, for the time being at least, we all need to keep active and use alternatives to public and mass transport. Cycling is great way to enjoy your once a day exercise either alone or with your household. Cycling everyday is a great way to travel and exercise (especially now it’s Spring) and goes a long way to helping you look after your physical and mental wellness in these very challenging times. There has never been a better time to start, restart or keep cycling and Pedal Revolution are here to help.
Our stores have been closed but we have found a way to safely OPEN our Gorleston store from Wednesday 15th April for normal Monday-Saturday 9-5pm opening hours. We are working hard to make the store clean, healthily and safe for customers and we would ask that you help us by:
- ringing ahead on 01493 656800 to make an appointment if possible please;
- only 1 customer in the store at any one time – please knock and Marc or Skip will gladly let you in if no-one else is in the shop;
- observe our 2 metre social distancing rule for fellow customers and our team;
- please do not come if you feel unwell or have any symptoms or you are self-isolating as a household!

Our website is also open, in line with the Government’s instructions and exceptions for Bike Shops. We have slashed the prices of new bikes and e-bikes so yo can get on a new bike to commute, exercise for physical and mental well-being and make necessary journeys by the healthiest way possible – by bike in the open air (or at home on the turbo!). We also have upto 36 months interest free credit. And if that is not enough, new bikes and e-bikes come with up to two years free servicing!
Our Norwich store will remain closed to customers and manned purely for online despatch. This is just because as a busy city centre shop we can not safely open to customers. When we have found a safe way to open our busy Norwich store for you and our team we will !
It has been a devastating 18 months for retail businesses. This added challenge will no doubt be the final straw for many, but it has made us even more determined to find a way of safeguarding the future of our local business and the livelihoods of our fabulous and loyal team in both Norwich and Gorleston. Your continued, and much valued, support will be much appreciated when the World returns to normal – whatever that may look like!
While our big mass participation events are a no-go for now and our weekly ParkPedal and Cafe rides have to be suspended we are working hard in the background dreaming up some new ways to inspire us all to STAY HEALTHY & KEEP PEDALLING! in a safe and responsible way. Read about our events programme and please take two minutes of your day to help shape some new and innovative events that comply with the Governments instructions.
