Pedal Revolution have teamed up with Norfolk County Council’s Pushing Ahead Scheme to provide 100 free family ride places at the Spring Tour de Broads. All you have to do is complete the Pushing Ahead survey to claim your free places. Pushing Ahead will then confirm your entry to us and we will do the rest!
Looking for the inspiration to get active and ride your bike? The Tour de Broads started as an event for regular cyclists but has become an event for riders of all abilities. This year, alongside our longer 25 to 100-mile routes we have a family and beginner friendly five mile tour of the and some of its hidden history. It’s a great way to share you fellow riders encouragement and do something amazing this Sunday.
Once again the Tour de Broads Spring Sportive returns to the Sealife Centre Gardens on the promenade at Great Yarmouth. Family Route riders start between 11am and 1pm. Your reward for completing the ride will be part one of a specially designed interlocking medal (join us in August to earn it’s partner). You’ll also get a voucher to claim a free traditional seaside treat from The Beach Hut Café, just around the corner from the finish line.
Don’t spectate, be inspired and come and be part of Great Yarmouth’s biggest celebration of cycling – it could be the start of an amazing journey!
You can read about the route and the event on our Tour de Broads website
Pushing Ahead offers lots of opportunities for cycling and walking in Norfolk, including the Cycle Loan Scheme that offers a free loan of a bike for four weeks to inspire you to start cycling.
