On Thursday 20th July, a small team of teenagers from the National Citizen Service (NCS)* will be taking on a 400 mile static bike ride outside the Pedal Revolution Norwich store. The purpose of the challenge will be to raise money for two local charities that support worthy and meaningful causes; EACH and Beat as part of the team’s Social Action Project.
Alongside the static cycle challenge, the NCS team will also be holding other stalls which will offer fun, 25 second challenges suitable for the whole family.
Here is what a member of the team had to say about Thursday’s event:
“We felt our Social Action Project should be something we all were passionate about, and that’s cycling! We hope this event can make a difference to many people’s lives and also change people’s perceptions on the conditions the charities support. NCS has allowed me to be part of a team and hopefully give something back to my community”
If you happen to be in Norwich on Thursday between 10am and 4pm, please pop over to our Norwich support to show your support and encouragement for the NCS team and their chosen charities.
